A senior student at O’Reilly Senior High School was fatally stabbed by a fellow student during an exam.
A fellow student fatally stabbed an 18-year-old final-year General Arts student at O’Reilly Senior High School on September 3, just after the completion of an exam.
According to reports, the suspect had made violent threats against the victim, Edward Borketey Sackey, before the incident, which then escalated on the school grounds.
The eyewitness, a cousin of the deceased, reported that the stabbing happened during an altercation, likely caused by a disagreement about money. She said she had informed some instructors about the stress but saw no action taken in response.
While trying to get assistance, she visited her uncle’s establishment located next to the school. However, when she returned, she found that the other student had already stabbed her cousin.
