NMCN announces September 2024 midwifery exam results.

We are glad to announce that the Coordinating Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare has authorised the publication of Midwilery Professional Examination results for September 2024.

  1. Four thousand, seven hundred and Filly-three 14,753) (80%) applicants were successful.
    • Post Basic Midwifery: 2,137 applicants passed, 92%.
    • Basic Midwifery: 1,835 applicants passed, demonstrating 72% success.
    • Basic Midwifery (Refreshers): 16 passed, 100%.
    • Community midwifery: 765 applicants passed, 89%.
  2. Training institution heads must review their institution(s)’ results online starting Monday, September 16, 2024.
  3. Successful applicants should visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Portal (http://portal.nmcn.gov.ng) to apply online for registration and licensure starting September 16, 2024.
  4. Please complete online registration and payment within 90 days. The site will immediately remove any registration application not completed within 30 days.
  5. Late registration incurs a penalty cost of 16,250 per application after 90 days. In lack of initial license, an N6,562.00 annual penalty cost will be levied.
  6. The next Midwidery Professional Examination is Tuesday 11 Friday 14 March 2025.
  7. Nursing training institution heads must submit statistics of qualified applicants for the March, 2025 Professional Examination in Midwifery to exam@nmcn.gov.ng by December 31, 2024, using the Examination Application Checklist. Examination Application Checklists received after this date will be discarded.
  8. Please confirm receipt of the result and notify the Registrar/CE promptly of any errors. Council will not accept complaints beyond 30 days after result publication.
  9. Send letter to the Registrar/CEO, Nursing und Midwifery Council of Nigeris, Headquarters Office, Plot 713, Cadastral Zone, Life Camp, Abuja.
