The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) has announced the commencement of the 11th Regular Course admission process, inviting candidates who successfully completed their online registration.
The screening exercises, which include Automated Physical/Credential Screening, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Medical Screening, and Board Interview, will begin on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, at 0800hrs daily, at the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil-Kano. Candidates are required to visit www.polac.edu.ng to print their invitation slips for the exercise.
Screening Process:
- CBT: Applicants will first undergo a Computer-Based Test. Only candidates who pass the CBT will proceed to the next stages, including credential screening, physical, psychological, and medical assessments, followed by the Board Interview. Accommodation will be provided for candidates.
- Mandatory Requirements: Applicants must come prepared with:
- Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital
- Evidence of good character from the village/district head
- Certificate of origin signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
- National Identity Number (NIN) slip printout
- Original and duplicate copies of credentials: O’Level Results, Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, and JAMB result printout
- Printout of the application form
- Duly completed Guarantor’s form
- Invitation slip
- Important Guidelines:
- Candidates must appear in clean white T-shirt and shorts.
- Failure to present the required documents will result in disqualification from the screening.
- Candidates are advised to be mindful of their scheduled dates and times and adhere to the screening guidelines.
Note:
The Commandant, AIG Sadiq I. Abubakar, mni, has assured that the screening exercise will be transparent and free of charge. He also warned candidates against fraudsters who might attempt to exploit the process. Any such individual found guilty will face the full legal consequences.
