In order to fulfil his dream of becoming a nurse, Qwasi Sunday, a strong young man from Ghana, has surmounted severe financial obstacles. Even though he was always in danger of quitting school because of a lack of money, Sunday persisted and put in a lot of effort to continue his studies.
Sunday worked several jobs while attending the Seventh Day Adventist Nurses Training College in Kumasi in order to cover his tuition costs. He worked as a server at a restaurant after spending his days selling sachet water in traffic. His enthusiasm for healthcare drove him to persevere despite the physically taxing nature of the work.

Sunday balanced employment and school for years in an effort to save enough money for his schooling. His story, which he chronicled in a TikTok video that went viral, demonstrated the value of perseverance. He remarked, “First, it was fragrance, then it turned to fire, my worship is my weapon, this is how I win my battle,” as he reflected on his hardships and how his faith sustained him.
Sunday, who is in his penultimate year of nursing college, is now one step closer to realising his lifelong dream of becoming a licensed professional nurse. Many others who encounter comparable financial obstacles while pursuing college can find encouragement in his extraordinary journey.
Sunday’s goals for the future include establishing a prosperous modelling career in addition to his healthcare vocation. He is committed to making both goals a reality through his tireless efforts and unflinching dedication.
