After openly destroying his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) credential in protest of poor governance and economic hardship, a dissatisfied Nigerian man has ignited internet discussion.
The man vented his fury on social media while taking part in the 30-Day Rant Challenge. He bemoaned the fact that finding work in Nigeria is still difficult even after years of schooling and obtaining a degree.

He tore apart his NYSC credential in a widely shared video, denouncing the deteriorating economic climate and urging the government to act.
“Our parents were able to attend school and maintain a minimal standard of living during their time. “Now, that isn’t feasible,” he stated.
“Are we even discussing the cost of power and gas? Everything is going through the roof!
Strong reactions have been evoked by the video, with some people doubting his conduct and others feeling sympathy for him.
Reactions Online:

@HARRIS_C_BTQ expressed concern: It’s painful to see a country with so much potential held back by corruption, bad leadership, and lack of opportunities.”
@3Se0i commented: “I wanted to say he shouldn’t have torn it, but then I remembered how useless the certificate is .”
@sir_clems12 predicted: “I told someone that people would soon start tearing their NYSC certificates, and they thought I was joking. Now, here we are. Soon, we’ll start tearing BSc certificates too.”
