Olamide Egbayelo, who is a third-class graduate of a Nigerian institution, receives a perfect score on a master’s degree from a UK university.

Olamide Egbayelo, a young lady from Nigeria who received a third-class degree from her undergraduate institution, has excelled in her master’s program at the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom.

Olamide graduated with honors in third class from Adekunle Ajasin University in Nigeria with her first bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Olamide didn’t give up on her education even though she didn’t graduate with outstanding grades; instead, she moved to the United Kingdom a few years later with a determined attitude.

At the University of South Wales in Wales, the United Kingdom, she received an exceptional distinction for her master’s degree in strategic and digital marketing. Olamide celebrated her accomplishment on Twitter.

“Woke to discover that the test board had accepted my final MSC score. She tweeted, “Please call me DISTINCTION GRADUATE.” Olamide claimed that her master’s year was one of the most difficult in her life.

She said that she had shed tears, blood, joy, and everything along her educational journey, but she remained steadfastly focused and persisted in reaching her objective. She acknowledged her appreciation to everyone who helped with her studies.

She also expressed her gratitude to everyone who helped her with her dissertation research, writing her assessment, and reviewing her proposal papers.

Olamide said that she is thrilled to have received her degree, noting that she earned a third-class bachelor’s degree. She said that although she was relieved to have finally conquered, she carried the weight of feeling inadequate.

“I went from finishing my undergrad with a third class after two more years to receiving a distinction in my MSC. Broken men have been the yoke. I knew that I could have done better, yet I bore this guilt for years. Sensing that I wasn’t a dullard,” she said.
