After 17 years, Graduate reaches out to Her Father and Crys.

After finally contacting her biological father, who had abandoned her for 17 years, a young Nigerian woman who graduated with First-Class honours in Mass Communication was devastated to find that she had received a frigid response.

She revealed her heartbreaking story on TikTok, where she goes by @theprettyayo_. She said that she had summoned the bravery to contact him, but before she could even finish greeting him, he hissed, hung up, and blocked her.

She later texted him on WhatsApp, determined to let him know how she felt, but it went unanswered. In her suffering, she prayed that he would never be treated with the same contempt he showed her and swore to succeed greatly.

Although she was devastated by his rejection, she maintained optimism for the future while sharing her tale online with “heavy tears in my eyes.” She said she would eventually relocate to America and become a powerful figure.

Many social media users were moved by her narrative and showered her with encouraging and supportive messages. Others told her to concentrate on her accomplishments and never look back, while others had similar experiences.
