Ahmadu Bello University’s New Vice-Chancellor.

Ahmed is a professor in the school’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning.

Prof. Ahmed, the current Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Education, Kano, was formerly the Director of the institution’s Directorate of University Advancement.

Today, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 6:15 a.m., during the 209th (Special) Council meeting, which was chaired by Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, CFR, Prof. Ahmed’s appointment was announced. Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (VID), Public Affairs Directorate, Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
