Ajayi Crowther University has received accreditation from the National Universities Commission for an additional 11 programs across seven faculties. NUC, in a letter dated June 6, 2024, confirmed the accreditation of the programmes following Section 10 (l) of the Education (National Minimum Standard and Establishment of Institution) Act, CAP E3, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 20024. This provision grants NUC the authority to establish minimum academic standards for all educational programmes offered in Nigerian universities and to grant accreditation to such programmes.
NUC has granted full accreditation to the following new programmes at ACU: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Mass Communication, Computer Engineering, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Survey and Geo-informatics, Economics, and Peace, Strategic and Conflict Resolution.
NUC has also awarded interim accreditation for the programs of Radiography and Radiation Science.
The accreditation process is rigorous and involves NUC reviews and assessments. Our courses meet and exceed these requirements due to our teachers, staff, and students’ hard work, devotion, and skill.

It opens doors to various academic pursuits and increases work prospects in a competitive global economy.
The Executive Secretary of the NUC wrote to University management in September 2023 to tell them of the October–December accreditation exercise.
Thus, NUC accreditation teams from many departments visited the university to assess its readiness and compliance with academic program certification standards.
