This is to announce that the University Inter-Faculty Quiz and Debate Competitions will begin this year on May 8th and run through May 15th, 2024. Students from different departments and faculties get a great chance to demonstrate their expertise, compete in pleasant ways, and foster interdisciplinary cooperation at this event.
The competition will involve academic departments from around the institution and cover a variety of subjects, such as science, the arts, history, technology, and more.
Faculty teams will have the following person breakdown for debate, public speaking, and quiz categories in addition to the minimum number of participants:
- Quiz: 3 main participants with 2 substitutes
- Debate: 2 participants
- Public Speaking: 1 participant
To improve teamwork, we encourage teams to include people from different departments and specialities.
This fascinating and educational program is open to all interested students. Kindly get in touch with the coordinators or quiz and debate clubs in your faculty to register.
