Start Your Adventure

The application process will start on Monday, February 26 and run through Friday, August 30, 2024. All applications must be finished and submitted online by Friday, September 13, 2024, at the latest.

Getting Around the Application Process

• Check out the Portal: To begin, go to http://spgs.unilag.edu.ng, the School of Postgraduate Studies University of Lagos Portal, and select the 2024/2025 Applications option.
• Course Verification and Eligibility: Before moving further, be sure you meet the requirements for the course you want to take and that it is available.
• Application Form and Payment: To receive a Payment Reference Number, click the “Application Form” link, choose the Postgraduate option, and then follow the steps. Use this number to proceed with the N30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand Naira Only) non-refundable payment. You can use this number to pay online via the PayNow link or by remitting money at any commercial bank.
• Finish Up Your Application: Return to the portal to complete your application after making your payment. Your Payment Reference Number and lowercase version of your surname must be entered as your password when logging in.
• Required Documents to Upload: Complete the application and attach your digital passport photo in the appropriate format. Make that all required credentials are uploaded in the manner specified.
• Final Submission: Before submitting your form, carefully review the information you have provided. Recall that there is a fee for revising your application after it has been submitted.

Important Information for Prospective Students

• Eligibility: Carefully review the program’s requirements. Eligible candidates are those who have not yet fulfilled their National Youth Service Corps assignments, are awaiting results from their bachelor’s degree, or are enrolled in postgraduate programs.
• Required Documents: Attach any required documentation, such as degree certificates, NYSC certificates, and professional certificates, as indicated on the application form. Before registration opens, academic transcripts must be forwarded to the School of Postgraduate Studies Secretary.
• Ph.D. and M.Phil. candidates: Before applying, find out if there are any openings for Supervisors by contacting the appropriate Departments.
• Dates of Examination: The online qualifying exams are planned for the week of September 23, 2024, through September 28, 2024.
