Community-Based Health

Activities:

  • Worker for Community Health Extension, or CHEW
  • Community Health (National Diploma)
  • JCHEW: A worker in community health extension

Admission Requirements:

  • NABTEB, WAEC, GCE, or NECO
  • Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for five (5) credits

Dental Wellness

Activities:

  • Technician for Dental Surgery, or DST
  • Digital Health Technologies, or DHT
  • Dental treatment

Qualifications for DST/DHT Admission:

  • WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
  • Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are the five (5) subjects that must be passed.

Environmental Health Sciences

Activities:

  • Technician for Environmental Health (EHT)

Admission Requirements:

  • WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
  • Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for five (5) credits

Environmental Technology, ND and HND; Environmental Technician (Diploma).

Medical Records Administration

Conditions for Admission

Applicants must have earned at least a lower second-class pass on their final exams after completing the National Diploma (ND) program in a related discipline.

Candidates also need to possess:

  • Five GCSE passes in math, chemistry, biology, and English language at grade C or better.
  • Evidence of having finished a year-long work placement at an accredited school.

Time frame

With a practical attachment time, the program lasts for two (2) academic years or four (4) semesters.

Accredited Pharmacy Technician

For Pharmacy Technicians who graduated from any PCN-accredited College of Health Technology in Nigeria before 2017, the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) has approved a refresher course. To be admitted directly into the pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences faculty at any Nigerian university that offers the study, you must first get a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate.

Correctional Research

The purpose of the remedial program is to correct O’Level results that are below par.

Appropriate candidates are encouraged to apply to the college for remedial courses. The objective is to equip applicants for admission into any college course with a guarantee.

After completing the remedial program successfully, students will be guaranteed admission to the College of Health Technology Offa, provided that:

  • Earn a minimum of 2.0 CGPA in college-level O’Level subjects.
  • Ensure that any O’Level inadequacies are addressed.

The chosen courses for the successful candidates will subsequently be assigned.

Time: Half a year
