Overview: ATBU Shuts Down Campus, Calls Protesting Students Miscreants
The administration of the Yelwa Campus of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi has closed the school in response to student demonstrations over the deadly stabbing of Joseph Agabaidu, a final-year Geology student, during an attempted robbery.
A circular received by DAILY POST, bearing the signature of Haj. Fatima Inuwa Abdullahi, Deputy Registrar (Academic), authorized the university’s temporary closure for one week, starting on Monday, December 4, and ending on Sunday, December 10.
