According to Babcock University, Oladipupo Siwajuola, the student who was recently reported missing, departed the school without permission. Joshua Suleiman, a spokesman for the institution, said that at the time, school officials were unaware of the student’s unapproved departure.

While confirming that the university had actively collaborated with the police and other relevant parties to find Oladipupo, the institution chastised his mother for posting unsubstantiated statements on social media. Although official confirmation is awaiting, reports indicate that Oladipupo was hiding in Akute, Ogun State.
Oladipupo will be subject to a disciplinary committee for violating school regulations, Babcock said, underscoring its stringent safety procedures. The institution added that it would take action in response to any conclusions drawn from the ongoing inquiry involving other people.
The institution reaffirmed its dedication to due process and student safety.
