Babcock University Resumption Notice for Second Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session
On behalf of the President/Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ademola S. Tayo, Babcock University extends warm holiday wishes to all students and parents. The resumption schedule for the second semester is as follows:
- Monday, January 13, 2025: 100L, 500L, and 600L students.
- Tuesday, January 14, 2025: 200L students.
- Wednesday, January 15, 2025: 300L and 400L students.
- Thursday, January 16, 2025: Classes begin for all 200L-600L students.
Important Instructions:
- Upon arrival, students must proceed directly to their assigned halls of residence.
- All returning students must present their evidence of payment (Student Receipt) at their halls before accessing their rooms.
- Only students with proof of payment or sufficient balance in their student accounts will be allowed on campus.
- 100L and new 200L Direct Entry students must ensure full payment of first semester fees before resumption. The fee schedule is available on the university’s website: www.babcock.edu.ng.
- Students must resume only on the specified days for their respective levels.
What Students Are Allowed to Bring:
- Bed sheet sets, pillow cases, mattress cover.
- Corporate clothing (African and English), shirts, trousers for men, and clothing for females that cover at least 3 inches below the knee.
- Laptop, bucket, laundry bag, towels, washcloths, pressing iron, alarm clock, soap, toiletries, study lamp, electric kettles, and rechargeable lamps.
What Students Are NOT Allowed to Bring:
- Jeans dresses, short mini-skirts, tight clothes, low-neckline clothes, spaghetti straps, jewelry, colored makeup kits, or any revealing clothing.
- Cooking utensils, food requiring cooking (e.g., Indomie), personal furniture, weapons, candles, boiling rings, knives, bleach, and chemicals.
