Bells University receives full NUC certification for 13 academic programs
The National Universities Commission has granted re-accreditation to thirteen well-established programs at Bells University of Technology, located in Ota, Ogun State.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) conducted the Re-Accreditation exercise for thirteen (13) Matured Programmes in Bells University of Technology, Ota between October and November, 2023, as mandated by Section 10 (1) of the Education (National Minimum Standard and Establishment of Institution) Act CAP E3 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
All 13 developed Programmes given by the University acquired Full Accreditation status with Excellent Scores after undergoing rigorous inspection activities conducted by several accreditation Teams from the NUC. The University received a Letter from the Office of the Executive Secretary, which said that the Full Accreditation status of the Programmes would last for 5 years. After that, another round of re-accreditation visits will occur.
The NUC conducts periodic re-accreditation exercises to verify that all degree awarding institutions in Nigeria strictly adhere to the minimum academic standards.
The following programs at Bells University of Technology, Ota have been completely re-accredited for the next 5 years:
Financial record-keeping and analysis
- Financial services and the management of money
- Biomedical Engineering
- Construction Technology
- Management of business operations and decision-making processes.
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Economics
- Property Administration
- Technology in Management
- Study and application of engineering principles in the design and development of intelligent systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering.
- The field of study that focuses on the science of nutrition and its application in diet planning and management.
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Urban and regional planning
