Entry Requirements for Candidates

Requirements for both general and specific programs

General Requirements for Entry:

• NCE with three additional SSCE O’Level credits.
• Two IJMB or GCE A/Level passes combined with three credits from the SSCE or GCE O’Level in additional disciplines.
• English credit is required for all courses.
• A passing grade in mathematics is required for all courses unless otherwise noted.
• Diploma holders are qualified if they have taken applicable O’Level courses.

Particular Conditions:

• Literature proficiency is a minimum requirement for the B.A. (Ed.) in English.
• Courses that focus on science require a math credit.
• For B.Sc. (Ed.) Economics and Geography, a mathematics credit is necessary.
• A Federal Craft Training Certificate or comparable credentials may be taken into consideration for the B.Sc. (Ed) in Technology.

A Comprehensive Guide for Applying

JAMB Application: To receive JAMB admission forms for Sandwich programs, candidates must first visit the JAMB Office.

Payment of Fees and Acquisition of Forms:

• A processing fee of N6,500.00 should be paid to Zenith Bank using account number 1010445089 and the name BSU Sandwich Account.
• Upon presenting the payment teller, obtain processing forms from the Benue State University Sandwich Program Coordinator’s office.

Send completed forms, photocopies of certificates, and JAMB registration numbers to:
