Last weekend, Faith Nwonye, a 30-year-old educator at Landmark School Mgbakwu in the Awka North Local Government Area of the state, was apprehended, according to reports.
On Thursday, May 23, 2024, the State Commissioner for Education, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, verified the disheartening development.
“He was a boy, like any other, with hopes and aspirations.” “He attended school in pursuit of a brighter future, but he met a gruesome demise at the hands of those who were supposed to assist him in achieving his life’s aspirations,” the Commissioner declared.
