We are happy to notify the public, in particular the new students at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), that the date of the 2023–2024 matriculation ceremony has been announced by the school administration.

This is to inform the newly admitted candidates for the 2023–2024 academic year, as well as the entire university community, that the 2023–2024 Matriculation Ceremony will take place on FRIDAY, May 17, 2024, at the Great Hall, per the approval of the University Management Committee.
As a result, the worried pupils should take note of the day and plan to attend. The entire university community will receive further details about the celebration in due time.
NOTICE REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS
This is to notify all new students that “The Great Hall” will host the 2023–2024 matriculation ceremony on FRIDAY, May 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. sharp.
In order to do this, everyone involved is asked to visit their respective faculty offices on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, and Thursday, May 16, 2024, to pick up their academic gowns for the ceremony.
It is necessary to return the collected gowns to the appropriate faculty officers. A fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) per day will be assessed for failure to return the gowns by the deadline. This fine must be paid to the University’s Bursary Department via the various Faculty Finance Officers.
It is expected that all matriculating students will gather in front of “The Great Hall” at precisely 8 a.m. and that at 8.30 a.m., their faculty officers will lead them to their seats in the hall. Any matriculating student who is not seated in the hall at the appointed time will have their access to the ceremony area blocked.
Additionally, all matriculating students are expected to dress appropriately for the ceremony; any who do not will not be permitted entry to the location. Faculty members should kindly require their students to dress appropriately.

This is to notify all new students that the dress code for the 2023–2024 matriculation ceremony is a white blouse over a black skirt for female students and a white shirt over black pants with a tie for male students. As a result, all matriculating students are instructed to rigorously abide by the dress code, since they will not be permitted entry into the venue.
