F.C.E Zaria wins 2024 JAMB Mega Award for Best Education College
The prizes were awarded at the 2024 JAMB Policy Meeting, Body of Benchers, held at the JAMB Headquarters in Abuja. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Olanrewaju Oloyode, CON, FNAL, delivered the awards on 18th July, 2024.
The awards showcase the exceptional performance of the Federal College of teaching, Zaria in all areas assessed, emphasizing its superiority in teaching and administration. The Acting Registrar, Mal. Shehu Iya Sa’idu, and the Academic Secretary, Mal. Muhammad Ibrahim, accepted the awards on behalf of the College.
The university has received the JAMB award for the second time in a row, thanks to the leadership of its current Provost, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe. In 2023, the College received the “JAMB Award of Silver” for being the second best Nigerian College of Education in terms of providing access to higher education for those with special needs.
These accolades acknowledge the Federal College of Education, Zaria’s commitment to inclusive education. It also validate its devotion to efficient administration and academic superiority. They stand as evidence of the diligent efforts and determination of the College’s administration and personnel in influencing the future of education in Nigeria.
