Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos: Admission Form for 2024/2025 Academic Session Now Available

The Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos (FCMLST) has officially commenced the sale of admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. The application deadline is set for Friday, 29th November, 2024. Interested candidates can now apply for the following National Diploma (ND) programs:

Available Programs

1. National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology
2. National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology
3. ND II Direct Entry (Recertification for Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians)

Entry Requirements

1. ND Medical Laboratory Technology

• Credits in five subjects (Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, and Physics) in WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
• Results must not be older than five years at the time of enrollment.
• Maximum of two sittings allowed.
• Duration: 2 years coursework + 1 year SIWES/Medical Lab Posting.

1. ND II Direct Entry (Recertification for Medical Lab Technicians)

• Must be a Registered Medical Laboratory Technician with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Must provide an Academic Transcript from the previous training institution.
• Duration: 1 year.

1. ND Environmental Health Technology

• Credits in five subjects (Biology, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics, and Physics) in WAEC, NECO, or GCE.
• Results must not be older than five years at the time of enrollment.
• Maximum of two sittings allowed.
• Duration: 2 years coursework + 1 year SIWES/Attachment Program.

Application Procedure

1. Obtain application forms from the Accounts Department at the college located at JUTH Old Site, Jos.
2. Make a non-refundable payment of:

• N10,000 for ND Medical Lab Technology and Environmental Health Technology.
• N50,000 for ND II Direct Entry (Recertification).

1. Follow the TSA payment procedure provided by the Accounts Department.
2. Complete the hard copy application form and attach all necessary credentials.

• All applications must be submitted on or before Friday, 29th November, 2024.
