FUOYE Expels 5, Suspends 152 for Exam Misconduct
The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) in Ekiti State, Nigeria, has implemented stringent disciplinary actions against students who have engaged in examination misconduct. In accordance with the recommendations put out by the Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC), the institution has taken the decision to expel five students and suspend 152 others.
The students that have been expelled are:
- Okeredima Delight Ozioma – Social Sciences/Sociology
- Akanmu Yusuf Adeyinka – Civil Engineering
- Lateef Jimoh – Social Sciences/Economics
- Adams Tijani – Science/Mathematics
The expulsions will take effect immediately. The 152 students who have been suspended will receive punishments that vary from one to two semesters, depending on the seriousness of their actions.
