He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Adekunle Ajasin University in 2011 and a Master’s degree in Food Microbiology from FUTA in 2017.
His passion for exploring the interactions between plants, soil, and microbes, particularly their agricultural applications, led him to pursue a Doctoral degree in Biology/Microbiology at North-West University, South Africa, completing his Ph.D. in 2022 with a focus on soil-plant-microbe interactions.
Currently, Dr. Adeleke serves as a Lecturer II in the Microbiology program at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa, Nigeria. He is also a member of the Nigerian Young Academy (NYA).
In addition to teaching, he mentors students and conducts research on soil and plant microbes, investigating their potential as bioinoculants to improve crop yields and soil fertility. His work significantly impacts agricultural practices and scientific advancements, addressing global food security challenges.
