Applicants for the University Advanced Basic Science (UABS) Program at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Federal University of Technology, Akure, must be qualified.
Objective:
To prepare students for admission into 200-level courses at the Federal University of Technology, Akure and other Nigerian institutions through JAMB Direct Entry and to universities worldwide.
Entry Requirements:
The candidate must have O/L (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) in two sittings with credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, and Geography. English, mathematics, and three more essential disciplines must be passed by all candidates. Candidates are admitted into FUTA’s 200-level undergraduate program, other Nigerian institutions, and certain foreign colleges through CIE, IJMBE, and JUPEB after the program.

Full-time programming is planned.
Duration
There will be one academic session of two semesters for UABS.
