FUTO Supplementary Form 2024/2025 is Out

FUTO Supplementary Admission for 2024/2025 Session Now Open

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) invites applications for supplementary admission into its various programs for the 2024/2025 academic session. Interested candidates who sat for the 2024 UTME and meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply. The application portal will close on December 31, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

The following categories of candidates can apply:

1. Candidates who registered for the 2024/2025 FUTO Post-UTME screening and scored a minimum aggregate of 40.
2. Candidates who registered for the screening but did not upload their O’Level results.
3. Candidates who did not participate in the earlier advertised screening exercise, whether they initially chose FUTO or not.
4. Candidates who did not choose FUTO as their first-choice institution must change their institution to FUTO on JAMB CAPS to be considered.

How to Calculate Your Aggregate Score

• JAMB Score: Multiply by 0.15
• Post-UTME Score: Multiply by 0.1
  Aggregate Score Formula:
  ( \text{Aggregate Score} = (\text{JAMB Score} \times 0.15) + (\text{Post-UTME Score} \times 0.1) )

Available Courses for Supplementary Admission

Newly Added Courses:

• School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology (SAAT): Agri-business (AGB)
• School of Electrical Systems and Engineering Technology (SESET):
• Computer Engineering (CME)
• Telecommunications Engineering (TCE)

Important Notes

• The Merit Cut-off applies to all candidates, while the Catchment Cut-off is for candidates from FUTO’s five catchment states: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.
• All applicants must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS by December 31, 2024.
• Ensure consistency of your details on both FUTO and JAMB portals.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the FUTO official website.
2. Navigate to Prospective Students > Undergraduate > Supplementary Post UTME Application.
3. Click on Generate Supplementary Application Invoice and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Pay the non-refundable fee of ₦11,000.00 at any bank using the RRR code on the invoice or pay online with an ATM card.
5. Return to the portal after payment, complete the supplementary application form, and print the Acknowledgement Slip.

Change of Course Instructions

If you previously applied for other courses, you can switch to the newly added programs at no additional cost:

1. Visit the FUTO portal.
2. Click on Help/Support and Open a new ticket.
3. Provide your JAMB Registration Number and the new course choice.
4. Submit the ticket and await confirmation via email to print the updated Acknowledgement Slip.
