Oyebowale Raji, the chairman of the Governing Council, urged graduates at the Lagos State Cooperative College’s second convocation in Agege to use their knowledge to advance Nigeria’s entrepreneurship and cooperative sectors in order to propel national prosperity.
Raji underlined how crucial it is to apply the knowledge they have gained to support social and economic advancement. The graduates’ tenacity was commended by Provost Akorede Ojomu, who also highlighted their capacity to influence society in a constructive way.

Over 32.9 million nanobusinesses make up 85.55% of Nigeria’s informal sector, but few of them are successful because of inadequate funding, skills, and governance, according to keynote speaker Dr. Olusegun Dada. In order to sustainably empower small businesses, he suggested cooperatively driven alternatives such as revolving money, transparent procedures, and democratic structures.
The occasion honoured scholastic success and urged graduates to lead with honesty, creativity, and influence across Nigeria’s economy.
