Crucial Pre-Matriculation Guidelines
Finalizing Registration Procedures: By Monday, March 11, 2024, all new students must have finished their registration procedures. For students who have finished registering and paid all required fees, matriculation numbers are a prerogative. This is your last chance to guarantee your spot as an IAUE student, and the deadline is non-negotiable.
Matric Gown Fee: The cost to hire matriculation gowns is ₦11,000.00 (Eleven Thousand Naira Only). The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, located in Rumuolumeni, Port-Harcourt, must receive all payments online. This procedure guarantees a smooth transition into the ceremony’s official matriculation clothes.
Important Notes for New Students:
- Registration and School Fees: IAUE student status will be lost if registration procedures are not completed and school fees are not paid by the deadline.
- Signature on the Matriculation Register: In order to sign the Matriculation Register and take part in the matriculation ceremony, you must first show proof that you have paid for your gown.
- Gown Collection: On March 11, 2024, faculty officers will begin to donate their matriculation gowns. The St. John’s Diobu Campus’s Center for Continuing Education (CCE) is where part-time students should pick up their gowns.
Rules for Post-Matriculation
- Policy for Returning Academic Gowns: By Wednesday, March 21, 2024, all academic gowns must be returned to the Faculty Officer. There will be a fine of ₦1,000.00 (One Thousand Naira Only) each day for late returns.
- Identity Card Processing: It is recommended that students visit the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Center to process their Identity Cards (IDs) after completing their registration and paying their tuition.
