Most of our students who are having trouble registering for NIN through NIMC offices no longer have to spend the night at the NIMC office.
They can obtain their NIN numbers from the comfort of their homes thanks to NIMC’s setup of a utilized server.
Enter * 346# and adhere to the on-screen instructions. It will show your NIN.
Warning: Make sure you complete the following actions before dialing this code:
Dialing from a SIM linked to a prior registration—a voter card, driver’s license, BVN, or any other registration that includes your picture and thumbprint—is required.
On the line, you need to have at least N20 in call credit.
As the NIN will only be displayed once, get ready to take a screenshot of it or prepare a sheet of paper and pen.
If the battery is depleted, do not attempt to enter the code.
We were taken aback that, presumably because of the money they make there, candidates at the NIMC offices were not provided with this information until we arrived.
