IMSU Admission List 2024/2025 is Out

Imo State University (IMSU) Admission List for 2024/2025 Academic Session

This notice is for all prospective students of Imo State University (IMSU). The IMSU admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. Currently, candidates can check their admission status via the JAMB CAPS Portal. The list will also be uploaded soon on the IMSU admission portal.

How to Check IMSU Admission Status

Option 1: Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS Portal

To confirm your admission status on the JAMB CAPS Portal, follow these steps:

1. Visit JAMB e-Facility.
2. Log in using your JAMB profile username and password.
3. Scroll down to find the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
4. Click on ‘Admission Status’ or ‘Access my CAPS’.
5. Switch to desktop mode by selecting the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right corner of your browser and ticking the ‘Desktop site’ box.
6. Check your admission status:

• Case 1: If you see “Congratulations”, you have been admitted. Proceed to Accept or Reject the offer.
• Case 2: If it shows “Admission in progress”, wait and check back after a few days.
• Case 3: If it says “Not Admitted”, keep checking as updates may occur.

Option 2: Check Admission Status on IMSU Admission Portal

Once the admission list is uploaded to the IMSU portal, follow these steps:

• Visit the IMSU admission portal: http://imsu.edu.ng/admlist/one.html.
• Click on the appropriate merit batch list (e.g., Merit Batch One or Two).
• Enter your JAMB Registration Number to search for your name.
• If your name is not on the first list, check the subsequent lists (1, 2, 3, etc.).

How to Verify IMSU New Student Account

Follow this process to verify your student account once you receive admission:

1. Go to the IMSU Website via imsu.edu.ng.
2. Click on the Portal Link and select Verify Account.
3. Choose New Student and enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Click Verify to complete the process.
5. Log into the portal with the displayed username and password.
6. After verification, proceed to pay the IMSU Acceptance Fee.

• For updates on admission, you can join IMSU’s WhatsApp Channel.
• Ensure to accept your admission on the JAMB CAPS portal to secure your spot.
• Be aware of scammers—do not pay any unauthorized individuals for admission assistance.
