Ireoluwa Earns First Class degree from the University of Ibadan.

Ireoluwa Kayode, a Nigerian student, earned a First-Class degree in Architecture from the University of Ibadan. She was the top student in her field and had an amazing CGPA of 4.52/5.00.

Ireoluwa was admitted straight from SS2 in 2020, and she started her path amid stress, anxiety, and academic pressure. The rigorous demands of studio work and technical requirements almost caused her to move departments early on.

Her first year ended in a Second Class Lower because to COVID-19 interruptions, erratic internet, and a lack of typical final-year high school preparation; nevertheless, being named Class Rep of the Year helped her regain her confidence.

She self-learned design software using free resources and joined a local company in spite of an eight-month academic strike. She continued to advance academically while juggling leadership positions like Welfare and Health Director.

With the motto “Read to escape carryovers,” she changed her perspective from one of survival to one of service. She overcome obstacles and gradually got well through perseverance, late nights, worry, and faith.

After graduating with a first-class degree after earning consecutive As in her last semester, she had achieved top academic honours in her class by her final year, fulfilling a goal she had previously believed was unattainable.
