JAMB releases 2024 UTME top scores
The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has published the names of the individuals who achieved the highest scores in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Professor Is-haq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, presented a list of applicants at an admission policy meeting in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
According to Mr. Oloyede’s ranking, three applicants achieved the maximum score of 367 out of a possible 400.
Spoken by Mr. Oloyede, when JAMB published the results, just 8,401 students, which is equivalent to 0.5 percent, achieved a score over 300 in the test.
According to him, 77,070 individuals, which is equivalent to 4.2 percent, achieved a score of 250 or higher. Additionally, 439,974 individuals, representing 24 percent, achieved a score of 200 or higher.
