Kano State Orders 4,000 BESDA Teachers Screened Now.

Abba Kabir Yusuf, the governor of Kano State, has mandated that more than 4,000 instructors who just finished the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) program be screened right away.

The order was given at a public event on Monday to provide educational resources to schools around the state. Governor Yusuf emphasised the action as part of his administration’s efforts to bring the education sector back to life.

Yusuf said, “This is not just about employment.” The goal is to raise the quality of instruction in our public schools. Only competent and eligible applicants will be kept on board.

Noting that the applicants would take an aptitude test to determine their preparedness for permanent roles in the educational system, he directed the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to start the screening process right now.

The governor’s spokeswoman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, said that the exam would be an impartial and open assessment of the instructors’ ability.

Governor Yusuf reiterated that the goal of this program is to guarantee that all Kano children get high-quality instruction from qualified teachers.
