Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for JAMB, made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday.
Benjamin claims that the decision was made after the Council of Legal Education suspended the Bachelor of Laws program at the aforementioned colleges for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Redeemers University, Ede, Osun State, Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State, Kwara State University, Malete, Ilorin, Kwara State, and Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State are among the universities impacted.
Other institutions include the Nigerian Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State; Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State; Arthur Jarvis University in Akpabuyo, Cross River State; and Taraba State University in Jalingo, Taraba State.
According to the statement, the Nigerian Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State, will suspend its Law curriculum for two academic sessions, notably the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 sessions.
