She started her adventure in 2017 after being accepted to study law at Lagos State University (LASU). She developed a strong work ethic, participated in student leadership and legal development programs, and graduated with a Second Class Upper, placing her in the top 8% of her class.

The Nigerian Law School, one of the most difficult phases for any prospective lawyer in the nation, was the real test, though. She remembers, “There were tears.” “But with discipline, faith, and restless nights, I persevered.” Her persistence paid off, as seen by Silifat’s ranking of 120th out of 7,134 pupils, which demonstrated her consistency and determination.

Silifat, who is now formally called to the Bar, says that she went “from fear to fierce,” which encapsulates her inspirational journey of personal development. For young aspirants everywhere, her narrative serves as a call to action: “What if your success lies in the thing you’re afraid to start?”

She is excited to use her perseverance and legal knowledge in meaningful roles in the future. She said, “I’m prepared to contribute in a meaningful way, add value, and keep learning.”
