Lagos State University (LASU) Online Course Registration Procedure for 2024/2025 Session

Important Information for Newly Admitted Students:
Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of its detailed online registration procedure for newly admitted students for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you are a newly admitted student who has completed the LACACA operations and received your matriculation number, here’s what you need to know to complete your registration successfully.

1. School Fees Payment

• The payment portal is now active for newly admitted students.
• Deadline: Payment of school fees is scheduled for the first two weeks of resumption, starting Monday, 18th November 2024.
• Defaulters may incur penalties for late payments.
• Returning students: Please note that the payment portal is yet to be activated. Wait for further instructions.

2. Preparations Before Course Registration

• Confirm your matriculation number by visiting www.lasu.edu.ng:
• Navigate to the STUDENT tab.
• Click CHECK MATRIC NUMBER.
• Upload a scanned copy of your Anti-Cultism Oath Form (.pdf format) on the registration portal.
• Acquire NIN (National Identification Number) and LASRRA identification numbers.
• Seek guidance from your Level Advisers on departmental requirements before registering courses.

3. Payment Procedures

Stage One: GNS Compendium (Workshop/Seminar) Payment

1. Go to www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Point to the STUDENT tab.
3. Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.
4. Select LASU CONSULT.
5. Choose FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE GNS COMPENDIUM.
6. Follow the prompts to complete your payment.

Stage Two: School Fees Payment

1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Navigate to STUDENT > PAYMENT SERVICES.
3. Select FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE or STREAM 2 (depending on your admission stream).
4. Proceed with the payment process.

4. Bio-Data Registration

1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Click on STUDENT > BIODATA REGISTRATION.
3. Enter your Matriculation Number and Surname.
4. Complete the bio-data form with accurate information.

5. Online Course Registration

1. Go to www.lasu.edu.ng.
2. Click on STUDENT > COURSE REGISTRATION.
3. Choose UG COURSE REGISTRATION.
4. If you do not have a password, click Enroll Here to create one.
5. Log in using your Matriculation Number and Password.
6. Upload your Anti-Cultism Oath Form.
7. Read and agree to the LASU Code of Conduct.
8. Complete your course registration, then print:

• Main Registration Form
• Course Registration Form
• Examination Slip

1. Submit printed documents to your department for endorsement by the Head of Department.

Note: Only fully registered students will receive ID cards, be permitted to sit for exams, and access their semester results.

6. Additional Reminders

• Ensure at least 70% school fee payment for Stream 1 or 50% for Stream 2.
• Pay additional fees, such as:
• GNS Compendium (Workshop/Seminar)
• Practical/Workshop/Laboratory fees (for applicable departments).
• Avoid using proxies for any payment transactions and always print your transaction receipts for record-keeping.
