LAUTECH appoints two Deputy VCs, a substantive Bursar.
Two professors from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH ) in Ogbomoso, Nigeria, have been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellors.
Professor Adepoju Tunde Joseph Ogunkunle (Strategy and Development) and Professor Dauda Olurotimi Araromi (Academics and Innovations) are the Institution’s immediate past Committee of Provosts and Deans Chairman.
After today’s Senate meeting at the University Main Campus’s A. M. Salau Senate Building in Ogbomoso, the pair were announced. LAUTECH will have many Deputy Vice-Chancellors for the first time.
Close observers believe the LAUTECH hiring spree aims to reinforce the Vice-Chancellor’s desire to grow the top university significantly and improve its global ranking.
Mr. Kehinde Olusegun Olatokun, FCA is the new University Bursar.
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the Governing Council approved Mr. Olatokun’s nomination. The appointment begins Wednesday, August 14, 2024, for five years.
Mr. Olatokun earned a B. Sc. Accounting (1993) and MBA (2000) from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), he is an experienced professional.
