
In his speech to the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream Two Corps Members at Kebbi State Orientation Camp in Dakingari, Suru Local Government Area of the State, NYSC Director General Brigadier General YD Ahmed explained that Community Development Service, one of the Scheme’s four core programs, was created to allow Corps Members to carry out individual or collective projects that would benefit their host communities throughout their year of service.
General Ahmed added that no Corps Member would be allowed to dress indecently under the Scheme. He went on to emphasise the importance of closely following the authorised NYSC dress code.
He advised the Corps Members to only use authorised parking lots and cautioned them against getting into cars from unapproved ones. Before starting any journey, they must also get approval from the NYSC.
While delivering his camp report to the Director General, NYSC Kebbi State Coordinator Alhaji Bala Dabo Kagarko revealed that all camp operations were proceeding without a hitch and that the corps members had demonstrated a high degree of discipline, dedication, and tenacity.
