A student protest on certifying National Diploma results has resulted in MAPOLY closing indefinitely. Safety concerns lead to the shutdown starting on Monday, 13th January 2025.
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, management has declared the institution to be indefinitely closed, from Monday, 13th January 2025, until further announcement.
This action comes after some students recently protested the institution’s policy verifying National Diploma (ND) results from their former institutions. The management underlined its zero tolerance for false results and its will to preserve academic integrity.
Students have been instructed to remain off-campus in line with their safety and the protection of property and life.
As events progress, the institution guarantees parents, students, and the public timely updates will be given.
