Mistakes Students Should Never Make in Universities & Polytechnics

On this page, we’ll enumerate the blunders that students should never make when attending colleges, universities, or polytechnics (COE). They are

  1. Make use of every holiday to learn something new and fascinating, whether it is related to your subject of study or not. NEVER wait till your third or fourth year to apply for an IT internship.
  2. You will limit yourself if you graduate knowing only things related to your degree. Broaden your horizons and gain knowledge about all subjects.
  3. Avoid reading for grades because they won’t help you after school. Read to get knowledge and to gain strength.
  4. NEVER isolate yourself from other people. Become friends with people of diverse backgrounds, faiths, and levels of education.
  5. NEVER let an instructor take you or your potential down. You are not quite where you want to be, but he is probably where he wants to be. Don’t let him limit you with his words, grades, or outbursts.
  6. Always strive to be among the best; read to get As; and NEVER look down on grades. If, with all your might, you can do C, then go for it.
  7. Never allow religious activities to take the place of a genuine connection with God; take part in social events, but never allow them to take the place of one-on-one time spent with God. Avoid becoming an extremist or zealot.
  8. NEVER look down on people; the guy who battled to achieve third class might return powerful and wealthy, and the impoverished guy could become a millionaire after school. Despite graduating with a mediocre 2:2, no one else in my set has received as much recognition as my good friend Olalekan, both internationally and within Nigeria. No, based on your graduation grade.
  9. You should never accept your class rank or CGPA as the ultimate authority in your life. Why should an A4 piece of cream-colored, professor-signed paper from NSMC be the last word in your life?
  10. NEVER assume that simply because you are graduating with a good grade, you will receive preferential treatment from others. There are a lot of individuals in the world who are MORE qualified than you. Determine your “salvation.” It’s what you can do that will save you.
  11. Your life depends on God; never stray from him or moral principles. In dominus El frustra, which roughly translates to “Without God, we labor in vain,” is Latin. Both your greatest and worst days require the presence of God. Never undervalue the influence of grace or favor.
  12. NEVER, NEVER, EVER QUIT!

REMEMBER THAT WE STRIVE HERE, NOT DIE
