The top 10 institutions in Africa for 2024 have been determined by EduRank, a reputable source for social media analytics in the field of education.
A statement on the organization’s website states that the rankings were determined by looking at research outputs, non-academic renown, and alumni impact.
It also said that the rankings are the result of an analysis of 24.5 million citations obtained by 2.16 million scholarly papers produced by 1,104 African institutions.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) was ranked 1,431 worldwide and No. 23 in Africa.

1. University of Cape Town
