Beginning with the current academic year 2024–2025, Caleb University Imota Lagos has received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for a total of 19 undergraduate and graduate programs.
According to Prof. Sunday Olumuyiwa Adewale, the recently appointed acting vice chancellor, Caleb University’s dedication to academic quality is demonstrated by the undergraduate and graduate programs’ accreditation. “With multiple programs accredited by reputable accrediting agencies, the endorsement reaffirms our institution’s strong reputation for academic quality,” he stressed.
“We are proud to have met rigorous academic standards, demonstrating our dedication to providing exceptional education to our students.”
Based on a resource verification visit conducted by panels of experts to certain proposed academic programs at Caleb University, the Executive Secretary announced the multiple accreditation in a letter signed by Abubakar M. Girei, Ag. Director Academic Planning.
“I am directed to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the programmes with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.”
The following is a breakdown of the new programs that the NUC has fully accredited:
- PGD, MSc, M.Phil in Industrial Chemistry
- PGD, M.Sc., M.PhlI, and PhD in Criminology and Security Studies
- M.Sc. and PhD in Microbiology
- PGD„ M.Sc., M.Phil, and PhD in Cyber Security
- B.Sc. Broadcasting
- B.Sc. Journalism and Media Studies
