Trendy Nigerian footballer returns to UK university, graduates first class
Anglia Ruskin University in London recently had its convocation event at Chelmsford Cathedral, commemorating the academic accomplishments of its students. Among the graduates was Benedict Akwuegbu, a former Super Eagles striker, who graduated with outstanding academic distinction.
The college noted that graduation ceremonies are a significant focal point of the academic year, providing an excellent occasion for students to commemorate their diligent efforts and accomplishments alongside their loved ones.
Akwuegbu’s graduation is a further achievement to his already impressive list, which includes being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
Additionally, four prestigious colleges are actively pursuing Akwuegbu for admission to their Master’s degree program in Mental Health Nursing.
