Nigerian Graduates Best in Business Administration, UNILAG

Daniel Adegboye, a bright Nigerian, received an outstanding 4.91/5.00 CGPA and graduated as the top student at the University of Lagos’ (UNILAG) Department of Business Administration.

Daniel, who shared his experience on LinkedIn, talked about the difficulties he encountered after joining UNILAG in 2018 and feeling overpowered by the demands of attending a federal institution. But with perseverance and faith, he achieved academic success and won important prizes and distinctions.

Daniel received recognition as the third-best graduating student in the Faculty of Management Sciences, in addition to being the best graduate in the department. In addition, he earned an award for his outstanding performance and became a chartered accountant after completing all ICAN tests in one sitting.

In addition to his studies, Daniel had work experience as an intern at TotalEnergies in his third year and KPMG Nigeria in 2022. Additionally, he received a fully financed Erasmus Scholarship to study abroad for a semester at Istanbul Kültür University, which was his first time travelling outside. Daniel established Naviscale, a consulting firm that assists startups and small enterprises in overcoming obstacles and expanding, as a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.

As he reflected on his path, Daniel thanked his mentors, professors, family, and friends for their constant encouragement and support. He expressed gratitude to UNILAG for the possibilities and lessons it offered, as well as to his project supervisor, course adviser, and Department of Business Administration for influencing his academic career.

Daniel praised the outstanding accomplishments that marked the end of his undergraduate career, calling his experience at UNILAG a privilege and a teaching opportunity.
