Seun Akinfolarin, a brilliant Nigerian student, earned a first-class Chemical Engineering degree from Lagos University. She was also named department’s top graduate.
Seun had an amazing 4.80 GPA. Her academic excellence made her the university’s best-graduating engineering student. She tweeted about her accomplishments and satisfaction in graduating as a first-class engineer.
She wrote, “First class Honours, BSc. Chemical Engineering, University of Lagos. Engineering Faculty’s top female graduate.”
Before her bachelor’s degree, Seun earned a first-class honours certificate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos. Although she was busy with school, she participated in extracurriculars. She was a member of ULES, NSCHE, and SPE.
Seun also participated in the Academic Resource Team (ART), Homecoming Planning Committee, and Faculty of Engineering Dinner and Awards Committee. She interned at an engineering consulting business.
Seun received a first-class grade and thanked God, her parents, relatives, and friends for their support and drive while juggling school, extracurriculars, and her company.
