Ofure Ebhomielen has achieved a historic feat by being the first female student to graduate from the University of Ibadan (UI) in Nigeria with a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7.0.
Her remarkable accomplishment has landed her a fully funded scholarship to study computer science for a master’s degree at the esteemed Stanford University in the United States.
Ofure achieved the highest academic success at UI in 2019 by earning a first-class degree in Computer Science with a perfect CGPA of 7.0, making him the school’s best-graduating student.

Ofure is the first woman to reach this milestone, as noted by the University of Ibadan’s vice-chancellor, who noted that it had only been done four times in the institution’s history.
Her feat is further distinguished by the fact that she has maintained a flawless CGPA throughout her academic career. Because of her outstanding achievement, Ofure was able to work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University in addition to pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
She developed her abilities in a number of fields at Stanford, such as Machine Learning & Model Building, Deep Learning Projects, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Theories & Principles. Motivated by her love of artificial intelligence, Ofure studied PyTorch, a well-known machine-learning framework, and explored sophisticated deep-learning models. By encouraging perseverance and a commitment to greatness, she motivates her fellow pupils by sharing her motto:
“Remain committed to your objectives and never lose sight of the end goal.” Ofure, who graduated with a degree in computer science, is determined to establish herself as a prominent figure in her area and significantly contribute to the groundbreaking developments in artificial intelligence.
