Nkechi Nnadi, a prominent Nigerian scholar, with a PhD in mathematics from Wayne University.
The Federal University of Technology, Owerri in Nigeria awarded Nkechi a first-class B.Tech. in Mathematics with a 4.65 grade. Before relocating to the US, she earned an M.S. in Pure and Applied Mathematics at the African University of Science and Technology in Abuja, Nigeria.
She happily announced on LinkedIn that she had defended her dissertation, completing her PhD. Nkechi found her five-year academic career gratifying despite the hardships and long hours.
In 2019, she arrived in the US, unfamiliar with American society and its cold weather, but she rapidly adjusted.
Carrying and giving birth to a kid throughout her program was both a joy and a struggle.
However, Nkechi was pleased to complete her Wayne University Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics.
