Members of the National Youth Service Corps have been cautioned by Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, the NYSC’s director general, that travelling at night is not permitted.

Additionally, he stated that any Corps Member who travels in a manner not permitted by the Scheme would face consequences in accordance with the NYSC Byelaws.
He did, however, clarify that if a mandatory excursion is required, the Corps Member should end the trip by 6:00 p.m. and resume the next day.
In order to continue your journey the next day, find a safe place to spend the night when travelling, such as a military barrack, police station, or any Corps Lodge, once it is 6 p.m.
I suggest that you maintain your discipline for the whole of the service year. Be mindful of security in your surroundings and make sure you follow NYSC Byelaws to the letter,” the DG said.
Additionally, Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu urged the Corps Members to follow all camp regulations, form close friendships, respect the opinions of others, and actively engage in all camp activities.
