NYSC Member Claims she was paid ₦777K rather than ₦77K.

A Nigerian youth corps member has claimed that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) gave her ₦777,000 per month rather than the customary ₦77,000 allowance.

In a video that was uploaded to TikTok, she voiced her worries, expressing surprise at the atypical payment and pledging to notify the appropriate authorities of the situation.

Startling Bank Warning

She said in the video that when she got up and looked at her phone, she was shocked to see that NYSC had sent her an alert for ₦777,000 rather than the anticipated ₦77,000. She stated that she was concerned about possible consequences and intended to contact her bank, the police station, and her Local Government Inspector (LGI) to get clarification.

She said:

“Instead of the ₦77K they’re paying others, I got an alert for ₦777K. My own seven is three. Before I am accused of failing to raise an alarm, I will report to the police station, visit my LGI office and notify my bank.
