There is more to the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme than merely a forum for training. It’s a comprehensive ecosystem that guarantees capacity building via a range of engagement activities, including events, master courses, coaching, mentoring, and opening doors to possible clients, markets, and funding. This project is being carried out by the FATE Foundation and was created and supported by the Netherlands Embassy in Lagos.
Encouraging a flourishing business ecosystem in Nigeria is the main objective of the FATE Foundation and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos. The goal of this ecosystem is to give young people access to economic opportunities and skills, which will empower them financially.
Essential Qualifications and Advantages
Participants must have a feasible company concept and be between the ages of 18 and 35 to be a part of this life-changing experience. There are numerous advantages to the program, such as:

Organization and Curriculum
The curriculum of the program is developed to fully develop your business idea. It consists of:
- Enterprise training includes master classes on a variety of subjects, including business pitching, digital marketing, and concept development.
- Business assistance with legal, tax, HR, marketing, and digital elements; this includes market connections and business registration.
- Mentoring that pairs you with a business mentor to provide you with individualized direction.
How to Apply: The Application Process
Phase I:
- Fill out the online application form completely, making sure to upload all essential files (passport photo, birth certificate, school certificate or statement of results, and optional CAC registration).
Phase II:
- After the application process is reviewed, thirty candidates will be chosen for a two-day boot camp. The top 20 participants from each stream will then compete in a pitch competition to be selected for the Incubation program.
Entrepreneurs who advance to the boot camp and incubation stage of the program are eligible for free thanks to the generosity of Orange Corners, The Kingdom of Netherlands, and other partners. This scholarship pays for all of the course fees upfront.
Program Execution
The six-month Incubation program includes industry visits, networking events, business advice and coaching, and in-person capacity-building activities. Owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic, both in-person and virtual delivery of the curriculum are planned.
