
At the College of Health Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Nana Kwame Asiedu-Amponsah, a BSc Human Biology graduate, has won the title of overall top graduating student. This Mfanstipim School graduate has achieved remarkable success, as seen by their cumulative weighted average (CWA) of 84.52.
The Voice Of KNUST commended Asiedu-Amponsah for this exceptional academic accomplishment, which resulted in a barrage of praise.
“Asiedu-Amponsah, a 4th-year medicine student, has been adjudged the Overall Best Student of the College of Health Science at the College of Health Sciences 2024 Excellence Awards” the caption read.
Asiedu-Amponsah stated his goals to work in internal medicine, namely in the areas of cardiology and nephrology, in an interview with Joy News.
With a wish to give back to the community, he said, “Maybe cardiology and nephrology. Nephrology because individuals with end-stage renal disease require dialysis to return to the community. Cardiology due to its fascinating nature.
At the KNUST College of Health Sciences Excellence Awards 2024, Asiedu-Amponsah received a plaque and certificate in recognition of his outstanding performance.
